Digital Operator/Scanner Position Available
March 15, 2010
In preparation for Kevin Mason’s up coming Vanity Project Exhibition as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival, we are looking for one, or several people to help with scanning of the Negatives/Polaroids and Prints. As the project has been shot on numerous different formats there will be a variety of both scanning and retouching, and prepping files to Print, as well as working on some test prints. You can read more about the project here.
This position is unpaid but will gain you invaluable experience and your work will be credited in the limited edition book which will be on sale with the exhibition- we also try and provide assistance in return in terms of studio time, equipment use etc. This is ideally suited to someone who has a half day or some regular evenings available each week. You will need some basic knowledge of Photoshop, but care and attention are equally important skills. If you have previously helped out then please feel free to get in touch again.
Kevin is also looking for someone to work on Digital Scanning of Prints for GangUp Issue2.
